STEP 9 - SNUGGLE SOFT SKIN CARE

broken image

A newborn baby’s skin is soft and supple, but sometimes, for a multitude of reasons, it can become dry, flaky, or scaly. Depending on the products you have chosen to use for your little bundle, and despite your best efforts, those products can also be drying to your baby’s skin.

But try these ideas, and watch as they help moisturize delicate, dry skin.

FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL

This Carrier Oil is worth its weight in gold when it comes to moisturizing the skin. Because of its light composition, it absorbs quickly, does not leave the skin feeling greasy, and will not clog pores. It can be used on its own for moisturizing the skin, or as a carrier to dilute and apply other Essential Oils.

Immediately after bath time, or when changing a diaper, place a small amount of Fractionated Coconut Oil in the palm of your hand, rub hands together, and give your precious little one an all-over baby massage.

But Fractionated Coconut Oil isn’t just for babies: YOU can use it, too, for soft luxurious skin!

Here’s a baby lotion recipe you should try soon.

SMOOTH AS SILK BABY LOTION RECIPE

• 1/4 c. Organic Coconut Oil

• 1 tbsp. Organic Beeswax

• 2 tsp. Vitamin E Oil

• 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil OR Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
